Annual General Meeting
This year's AGM will be held in Shire Hall, in Dorchester, a building famous for the trial of the Tolpuddle Martyrs and where of course Thomas Hardy served as a magistrate. This is a unique opportunity to use this venue, before it is closed for the planned restoration of it as a major heritage tourist attraction. The meeting will be followed by a short break for tea and then a tour of the Georgian Crown Courts and Cells, which will include information about Hardy's service as a magistrate and appropriate readings. Afterwards there will be a walk to Hangman's Cottage. We are also arranging supper at Prezzo at 6pm, so if you would like to join us for that, please let us know, by contacting the Hardy Office: firstname.lastname@example.org or 01305 251501.
