The Conference will be opened by our President, Julian Fellowes, Baron Fellowes of West Stafford,

at a reception at the Thomas Hardye School.  Following a welcome dinner, our opening speaker will be the celebrated poet Simon Armitage, Oxford Professor of Poetry.
On Sunday 24th there will be a tour to Stonehenge, Old Sarum and Salisbury,as well as a walk round Casterbridge and  a service at St Michael's,Stinsford.
Lecturers during the week include Professor Barrie Bullen, author of The Expressive Eye and Thomas Hardy: The World of his Novels and Sean O'Connor, producer of  The Archers.
